Nyleda Knab is the artistic voice of Madelyn (Maddy) Banks, a songwriter who has been writing lyrics and creating melodies for over 25 years. Her music is available on Spotify and other streaming platforms, including Because of Love and Like You Jesus. She is also a contributing writer on the song For Great from the No Limit CD, and the lyricist behind A Heart After You, performed by Dan Willis.

Maddy is primarily a writer of gospel music, deeply inspired by the authentic Black church sound—rich choirs, dynamic vocals, and heartfelt expression. Nyleda Knab represents the vocal expression of her artistry. Through the use of AI, Maddy has finally been able to bring her long-held musical visions to life, completing the compositions she has carried for years. In this way, she embraces her role as the “author artist” of her creations.

Current Release

Her latest release, May My Meditation Be Pleasing to You, is now available on multiple streaming platforms. Inspired by Psalm 19:14—“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Thy sight”—the song is a heartfelt prayer. It reflects a deeply personal question: in the quiet moments of daily meditation, is her heart pleasing to the Father? This song is especially close to Maddy’s heart, and she is grateful that it can finally be heard.

Maddy believes some songs are simply meant to be shared—and this is one of them. She is not pursuing fame or fortune, but rather the fulfillment of a lifelong dream: to give voice to the music within her. And there is more to come.
